The main difference between a 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid and the gas models is not the price, but what’s under the hood! It’s equipped with a 145-horsepower 2.0 L 4-cylinder engine combined with a 181-horsepower electric motor. The whole generates 204 net horsepower and 247 lb-ft of torque.

In other words, you won’t have to worry about running out of power, since this Honda is a self-charging vehicle. In addition, there’s some exciting news from Honda: A fully electric model based on the CR-V and working on a fuel hydrogen cell will be launched in 2024. For now, however, there’s no word about the hydrogen model’s specs and its potential availability in Canada.
Elegance is the watchword with this new hybrid SUV, and some of its exterior and interior characteristics sets the CR-V Hybrid apart from the gas models.
