The 2024 Honda Hybrid Models

Are you familiar with Honda's range of hybrid models for 2024 ? Two of the manufacturer's most popular vehicles are currently available in hybrid versions, namely the Honda Accord and the Honda CR-V.

2024 Honda Accord

The Honda Accord offers 3 models in 2024, including 2 hybrids. Maintaining its elegant lines, the Accord hybrid is equipped with 19-inch wheels—unlike the 17-inch rims for the gasoline version—as well as, depending on the model, a rear spoiler, a sound alert, and rain-sensing windshield wipers, among others.

Among its interior features, amenities and technologies such as wireless phone charging, a sporty aluminum pedal set, push-button start, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 10.2-inch digital dashboard, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto/Amazon Alexa/Google Built-In, and much more are noteworthy.

Finally, in terms of power, the 2024 Accord hybrid boasts a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor; this combination delivers a net output of 204 horsepower/247 lb-ft of torque, which is more than the gasoline Accord (192 hp/192 lb-ft). You will also benefit from an exceptional city/highway fuel consumption of only 5.0/5.7 L/100 km.

2024 Honda CR-V

The immensely popular Honda CR-V also offers 2 hybrid versions! Offering the same net power of 204 horsepower provided by the same powertrain as the Accord hybrid, it also stands out for its formidable energy efficiency, which is just 6.0 L/100 km in the city and 6.9 L/100 km on the highway.

Features include not only the attractive silhouette of the CR-V, but also a generous interior in terms of space. Thus, it offers a utility volume varying between 1028 and 2030 liters, depending on whether the rear bench is folded down or not. Although this is slightly less cargo space than the gasoline CR-V offers, it nevertheless ranks excellently against the competition.

A driver monitoring system, pre-collision alert, traffic sign recognition, heated seats, dual-zone temperature control, a Bose sound system, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a 9.0-inch touchscreen, and wireless phone charging are just a few of the many technologies and amenities present on board the 2024 Honda CR-V hybrid.

2024 Honda Prologue

The Honda Prologue is the first fully electric utility vehicle offered by Honda in the North American market. Buyers in Quebec, Ontario, and British Columbia are the first in the country to be able to get their hands on a Honda Prologue; elsewhere in Canada, the Prologue will be marketed in 2026.

In addition to offering a bold and attractive silhouette, the Honda Prologue offers a range of over 450 kilometers; a mere 10-minute charge on an appropriate station can recover up to 100 kilometers of range, making it extremely compelling for long-distance travel!

The onboard technologies are also plentiful; and although the full technical specifications and equipment list for the Prologue have not yet been revealed, it is already known that it will feature an 11.3-inch touchscreen, an 11-inch digital dashboard, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a Bose sound system, and the suite of Honda Sensing driver assist technologies, among others.

Provided with a wide choice of exterior colors, 21-inch wheels, and the longest wheelbase in its segment—3094 mm—it's an electric SUV you must absolutely discover. But hurry, quantities are limited!

More Vehicles Coming in 2025?

The future of electrified and electric models at Honda looks very promising, including, among other things, the return of the Honda Civic hybrid for the 2025 model year. While few details are known so far about this model, its unveiling in January revealed that it features a honeycomb grille; the same motif is found on the lower part of the front bumper.

The Civic hybrid will be nearly identical in design to the 2024 gasoline models, so few differences are expected on that front. Finally, it will be equipped with the same hybrid system as the Accord and CR-V hybrid, but to date, it is unknown whether the power will be the same or slightly less.

Furthermore, it seems that the legendary Honda Prelude will rise from the ashes and return for the 2026 model year as a hybrid vehicle; however, no further information on this concept vehicle, unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show last November, has emerged thus far. Stay tuned for our upcoming publications to not miss any of the latest developments related to this model!
